Situations Vacant

IT Technician

A great opportunity has arisen for a local expanding Engineering / Manufacturing Company. The role requires someone who is eager to operate in a very ‘hands on’ capacity, as well as being keen to further their skill set. Working with the Senior IT Technician you will maintain all technology and support their expanding business.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-user training and instruction to improve computer operation
  • General ERP enquiries and updates
  • Printer support including driver maintenance and upgrades
  • Maintenance of and general work with CRM system
  • Land line / mobile phone communications maintenance and support
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end user IT problems via telephone, e-mail, helpdesk and in person in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Supporting Production by way of maintaining stock systems
  • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
  • Performing regular, scheduled preventative maintenance on IT equipment, including the checking and cleaning of laptops, workstations, printers, and peripherals.
  • Test fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolved.
  • Hands on installation of cables, CCTV
  • Perform post-resolution monitoring and follow-ups to ensure employee satisfaction and evaluate documented resolutions to analyse for trends to identify future problems.

Education and Experience:

  • Must have experience working in and supporting a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, including PCs, laptops
  • Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows 7 & 10, Server 2008 ,2012 & 2016
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Experience with VPN technology and antivirus, antispyware and disk encryption security technologies.
  • Exposure to Active Directory.
  • Hyper-V exposure would be essential
  • Strong documentation skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • occasional out of hours support work will be required

Digital Marketing Assistant

SYSPAL are attracting forward thinking marketing professionals to propel our portfolio of market leading brands. If you are ready to develop yourself within marketing, we would like to hear from you. This exciting position is ideal for a person who is interested in learning latest digital practices and gaining a strong all around grounding within marketing.

Ideal candidates will have some experience within marketing and have tangible skills to discuss at interview. The role is across all SYSPAL brands; from innovative products to aid the food industry, to underwater treadmills for dogs and human patients. So a person who is inquisitive and engaging would be welcomed to apply.


  • Working within the marketing team to jointly develop and improve all group brands

Sales Administration Assistant

SYSPAL Ltd specialise in the innovation, design and manufacture of aluminium and stainless steel equipment for a wide range of industries including food, pharmaceutical, veterinary and medical.

This employment opportunity is for a Sales Administration Assistant where you will be fundamental in providing support in the Sales Administration of our Hydro-Physio equipment and general duties to assist the Managing Director and his PA. You will provide a comprehensive, administrative service where accuracy and confidentiality is essential.

Key Skills:

  • Liaising with distributors and customers
  • Dealing with enquiries, providing information and proposals
  • Setting up new distributors
  • Order processing and maintenance
  • Processing stage payments
  • Sales/Customs documentation
  • Assisting with Marketing (Brochures, Price Lists, Newsletters, Social Media)
  • Keeping files and records up to date
  • Creating and updating information for shows
  • Creating and updating reports for meetings
  • Organising visits by distributors/engineers
  • Potentially working on exhibition stands (including overseas)

General Tasks:

  • Organising Diary with meetings etc.
  • Organising travel – Flights, Hotels, Trains, Taxi`s etc.
  • Opening and distributing post on a daily basis
  • Monthly Sales figures
  • Raising Purchase Requisitions
  • Attending meetings, taking minutes if required
  • Organising catering for meetings etc.
  • Reception duties as required
  • Involvement in Health & Safety / Quality requirements for ISO standards
