Service Coordinator

We are looking to recruit a Service Coordinator to ensure installations, service and repairs are carried out cost effectively. Co-ordinating Service Engineers and providing administrative support to the service office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to Customer issues via telephone and email in a timely manner
  • Provide quotations/orders/purchase reqs for the Service Department
  • Raise all RMAs – Return Material Authorisations
  • Manage Site Engineers diaries
  • Liaise with Sales Dept. to provide costings, timings and equipment allocations for installations
  • Ensure Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Insurance details are raised for all jobs, distribute to Site Engineers
  • Creating inventory & sales parts
  • Issue manuals and diagrams for products
  • Arrange hire equipment for Site visits
  • Raise service calls on Red Zebra
  • Receive credit card payments
  • Provide cover on Reception when required
  • Technical Support for customers with Nieros, tables, lighting and dental carts

Job Specifics:

Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team to undertake a variety of preventative and reactive maintenance on fabrication engineering machinery and general building maintenance, whilst adhering to health & safety regulations.

The work is varied as you will be carrying out routine maintenance on a variety of machines, including Compressors, Welding Equipment, Press Brakes, Cross bay cranes, Laser cutting equipment and automated stock systems together with a number of other machines.

To succeed in this position it is essential that you have:

  • A formal engineering qualification or time served apprenticeship
  • The ability to read & understand machine manuals
  • Experience of operating routine/preventative maintenance programme
  • Experience of general maintenance in a factory environment

It would be an advantage if you had:

  • Electrical qualifications
  • Fork Lift truck licence
  • Experience of pneumatics (air lines)
  • Experience of plumbing
  • Experience of laying cables

We are looking for a reliable, good communicator who is able to work on their own initiative and within a winning production team, taking pride in their work to ensure good results. Trainee Welder

Service and installation engineer - UK and Worldwide. Competitive rates of pay + overtime

We are looking to recruit a Service and Installation Engineer to undertake fitting, installation, repair and service on machinery and equipment i.e. conveyors, lifters, tippers and other capital equipment including Hydro therapy machines both at customer’s sites UK, worldwide, and at company premises in Shropshire.

Key responsibilities

  • Site installation
  • Service and repair of machinery and equipment on customer sites
  • Fitting, wiring and assembly of products
  • Fault finding
  • Complete Site Reports using the Red Zebra Software
  • Complete Expenses following the correct procedure in a timely manner
  • Complete Van checks as required
  • Liaising with customers

Due to the nature of the role and location of some customers; weekend or evening work may be required, including overnight stays and early starts and there will be some long haul travel. Basic hours per week are 40, working between Monday – Sunday; overtime as required.

 Person specification

A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role. The following training and qualifications are ideal although not essential as relevant training can be given to the successful candidate:

TIG Welder/Fabricator

SYSPAL LTD are currently looking for an experienced TIG welder / fabricator to join their team. SYSPAL LTD is the market leader in the innovation, design and manufacturing of stainless steel and aluminium equipment for hygiene and quality orientated industries.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have 2 years’ experience in TIG welding and fabrication of stainless steel and aluminium materials. MIG welding is advantageous but not essential to the role.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Fabrication and welding of bespoke stainless steel and aluminium products using sheet, plate, tube and machined components (1mm – 30mm)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to determine best fabrication and welding methods
  • Adhere to the companies policies and procedures
  • Maintaining the company’s high standard of housekeeping to ensure that the work area is organised, clean and hazard free
  • Involvement in the continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes and products
  • Safe operation of lifting equipment
  • Safe operation of machinery, hand tools and power tools
  • Using your own initiative to solve and overcome problems
  • Undertake any other reasonable duty requested from the company

 Skills

  • 2 years TIG welding experience (essential)
  • 2 years fabrication experience (preferred but not essential as training is provided)

Design Engineer

Established in 1975, SYSPAL are leaders in the design and manufacture of Stainless Steel and Aluminium equipment for Food Processing & Pharmaceutical. SYSPAL are an exceptionally well resourced and highly regarded British manufacturer with many innovative products specified domestically, and internationally.

We are looking for an experienced engineer to join our design team producing bespoke machinery for hygiene-conscious industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing products from initial concept through to detail design using SolidWorks 3D CAD
  • Using existing standardised designs as a basis for configured/derived products
  • Using FEA simulation and manual calculations to verify design requirements
  • Specifying technical information for purchasing and manufacture
  • Producing detail drawings for manufacture using SolidWorks
  • Using the company ERP software to generate bills of materials and related documentation for purchasing and manufacture

 Qualifications

  • HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Qualifications relating to IT and electrical design also an advantage

 Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience using 3D CAD. Computer literacy must be good generally
  • Experience designing sheet-metal and welded structural fabrications
  • Experience with electric motor drives. Pneumatic and hydraulic drive knowledge an advantage
  • Experience using simulation/calculations for design and development purposes
  • Experience designing for hygienic environments an advantage
  • Experience working with quality systems and regulatory affairs an advantage
