Sales Administration Assistant

SYSPAL Ltd specialise in the innovation, design and manufacture of aluminium and stainless steel equipment for a wide range of industries including food, pharmaceutical, veterinary and medical.

This employment opportunity is for a Sales Administration Assistant where you will be fundamental in providing support in the Sales Administration of our Hydro-Physio equipment and general duties to assist the Managing Director and his PA. You will provide a comprehensive, administrative service where accuracy and confidentiality is essential.

Key Skills:

  • Liaising with distributors and customers
  • Dealing with enquiries, providing information and proposals
  • Setting up new distributors
  • Order processing and maintenance
  • Processing stage payments
  • Sales/Customs documentation
  • Assisting with Marketing (Brochures, Price Lists, Newsletters, Social Media)
  • Keeping files and records up to date
  • Creating and updating information for shows
  • Creating and updating reports for meetings
  • Organising visits by distributors/engineers
  • Potentially working on exhibition stands (including overseas)

General Tasks:

  • Organising Diary with meetings etc.
  • Organising travel – Flights, Hotels, Trains, Taxi`s etc.
  • Opening and distributing post on a daily basis
  • Monthly Sales figures
  • Raising Purchase Requisitions
  • Attending meetings, taking minutes if required
  • Organising catering for meetings etc.
  • Reception duties as required
  • Involvement in Health & Safety / Quality requirements for ISO standards

    Trainee Welder

We are well known in the industry for extremely high quality products and currently have some fantastic opportunities to support our growth. We are rapidly expanding and continually investing in the latest technology, we are now looking for a Trainee Welder.

    Ideally, you will have an interest in engineering/welding and want to train to be the best. This role is a great opportunity to develop a career within the welding and fabrication industry.

    What you will learn as a trainee welder:

          • TIG/MIG welding of stainless steel and aluminium products
          • Fabrication of box section and sheet work components
          • Reading and interpretation of engineering drawings
          • Working safely in an engineering environment
          • Working effectively and efficiently in an engineering environment

    Job Type: Full-time

    Hours: 07.00 – 16.30 from Monday – Thursday and 07.00 – 11.00 on Friday, additional hours would be paid at flat rate.

    Technical Author

    Established in 1975, SYSPAL are leaders in the design and manufacture of Stainless Steel and Aluminium equipment for Food Processing & Pharmaceutical. SYSPAL are an exceptionally well resourced and highly regarded British manufacturer with many innovative products specified domestically, and internationally.

    The position of Technical Author is focussed on the production of instruction manuals and associated documentation for materials handling machinery.

    Key Responsibilities:

          • Discussing the operation of machinery with the project and design engineers and participating in machine testing
          • Writing the operating instructions for the machine, with assistance from the technical author and designer
          • Producing illustrations and spare parts drawings for the instruction manuals based on existing 3D CAD models

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

          • Very good communication skills and the ability to produce customer-facing documents to a high standard
          • An understanding of basic mechanical and electrical principles
          • An understanding of the relationship between technical documentation, product safety and regulatory requirements
          • Applicants must be able to work systematically using the more advanced functionality of MS Word, such as using stylesheets and templates
          • Experience with desktop publishing software is an advantage
          • Experience with 3D CAD is an advantage
