An exciting opportunity exists for Welder/Fabricators looking for their next challenge. As a result of our continued success we are looking to recruit Welders to join our friendly and supportive team.

No Shifts / No Weekends / No nights. To enjoy that important work/life balance you will work Monday to Thursday 7.00am – 4.30pm and 7.00am – 11.00am on a Friday.

What you'll do

As a Welder at SYSPAL you will be a part of a team of 22 welders who fabricate and weld bespoke stainless steel and aluminium products using sheet, plate, tube and machined components (1mm – 30mm). You will read and interpret engineering drawings to determine best fabrication and welding methods. You will have direct access to the solid model within your own weld pen with full training on the software given. No paper drawings!

What we're looking for

You are keen to work as part of a team and you play your part in producing high quality products. You take a pro-active approach to work and are able to work independently when required. The successful candidate will have a good level of TIG welding experience.

Ideally candidates should have experience in the following:

  • Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience using 3D CAD. Computer literacy generally be good.
  • Experience designing sheet-metal and welded structural fabrications.
  • Experience using simulation/calculations for design and development purposes.
  • Experience designing for veterinary environments an advantage.
  • Experience working with quality systems and regulatory affairs an advantage.

Job Specification:

  • Hours 38.75 per week
  • 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Thursday
  • 8:00am to 12:45pm Friday

With recent growth in our service department, we require a Service and Installation Engineer to join us in a new and dynamic role. You will undertake installation, service, and repair work on a range of machinery and equipment such as conveyors, lifters, tippers, and other capital equipment including Hydrotherapy machines. The role will be field based working at customer sites in the UK, worldwide, and at times the company premises in Shropshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site installation and commissioning of equipment
  • Service and repair of machinery and equipment on customer sites
  • Fitting, wiring and assembly of products
  • Fault finding on both mechanical & electrical systems
  • Complete Site Reports using Red Zebra Software
  • Complete Expenses and hours submission in a timely manner
  • Ensure good husbandry practices including van checks as necessary
  • Seek out new business opportunities via service & repair work from existing and new customers
  • Forge quality customer relationships by liaising professionally with customers whilst on site
  • Attend service meetings as required

Training

  • Formal mechanical/electrical qualification or apprenticeship

  • Experience fault finding on hydraulic & Pneumatic systems

Job Specifics

  • 40 hour basic week.
  • Weekend and evening work as required, including overnight stays and early starts (depending on job location and customer requirements etc).

As a Sales Coordinator you will provide exceptional sales support to both our customers and field sales, processing queries, quotations and orders. Communicating with other areas of the business and suppliers via telephone and email. You will maintain the customer database and the manufacturing system.

You will work on a variety of tasks at any one time and prioritise your own workload whilst meeting or exceeding your targets and working to our policies and procedures.
