In April 2016 SYSPAL set off for one of the biggest events in our calendar year, Foodex 2016 . The national trade show held at the NEC in Birmingham which brings together thousands of experts and professionals from a variety of different food industry backgrounds.

Foodex offers SYSPAL an ideal platform to showcase the innovative mechanical handling & materials handling equipment that we manufacture for the food industry and introduce visitors to the SYSPAL brand as well as meet up with existing contacts.

SYSPAL has been exhibiting at the bi-annual show for a number of years and 2016 was another great success. At the show we demonstrated our mechanical handling ‘single bin solution’, which is a process that allows a single Eurobin to take raw ingredients through a full production cycle.

The ‘single bin solution’ is made up of a 250kg or 350kg weigh scale, eurobin storage for immediate storage if required, a high-capacity Eurobin tumbler or a mixing Eurobin tumbler , a Eurobin tipper and a single or double unit Eurobin wash frame.

 Single Bin Solution

Using the solution an operator can take a single 200 litre or 300 litre eurobin full of raw ingredients and then weigh the product before either putting it in to batch storage or immediately mixing it and then finally tipping it to the required location. Once this has been completed the wash frame is used for the easy cleaning of the Eurobin ready for the process to begin again.

Reducing the exchange of ingredients between eurobins and eliminating eurobin washes between production stages increases productivity, throughput and reduce the risks of manual handling related injuries whilst maintaining an extremely high level of hygiene.

On the stand at Foodex, SYSPAL also displayed a range of hygienic conveyors including a rotary turntable, a sanitising conveyor and a Z-leg conveyor.

All of SYSPAL’s conveyors are innovatively designed with hygienic features and manufactured from 316 and 304 stainless steel to offer the most hygienic solution when transporting goods around a food processing site. Thanks to our extensive in-house conveyor design team we are able to work with customers to help them design bespoke projects for their site.

Thank you to everyone that came to visit us at the show this year and if you didn’t the full mechanical handling, materials handling and conveyors ranges can be viewed online on our website. We hope to see you all again in 2018.
